Job Description:

Danos has been mandated on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract for a Commercial Legal Counsel to join a Local Government Pension Fund. The role involves sitting in a small team and reporting to the Director of Risk and General Counsel. The position is based in Bristol, but remote working with occasional visits to the Bristol HQ is considered.

Responsibilities:

• Provide legal advice on contracts and arrangements, including employment, commercial, supply of goods and services, and investment documents.
• Maintain knowledge of relevant regulatory obligations affecting the fund.
• Advise on the Data Protection Act 2018.
• Research and implement applicable laws and regulations from the FCA.
• Aid with FOIA requests.
• Support the wider business, including Compliance and HR.

Your Profile:

• England & Wales qualified with 2+ years PQE.
• Broad commercial contracts experience is desirable.
• Immediate availability is preferred but not essential.
