Job summary

Bellway Group in Redhill seeks a Commercial Manager to lead the Southern Counties commercial team across busy bulk-housing developments. You will guide cost control, procurement, valuations and margin improvement, using COINS for reporting, and collaborate with senior colleagues to optimise land appraisals and budgets.

Ideal candidates are Senior/Managing Surveyors ready to step up into leadership, with strong housebuilding experience, HS/CDM knowledge, and a proven track record of team

Qualifications

• Strong housebuilding commercial experience as Senior Quantity Surveyor/Managing Surveyor.
• Knowledge of valuation and budgeting systems and relevant safety regulations.
• Experience leading and motivating a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the commercial team to control costs, procure, value and improve margins.
• Prepare monthly valuations for senior management review.
• Support land appraisals and tie costs to budgets with the estimating team.
• Oversee sub-contractor and supplier procurement and manage complex commercial discussions.
