Job summary

Clarehill Associates seeks a Commercial Director to lead the renewable energy engineering business, driving BD, account management and sales strategy across offshore wind projects. The role focuses on growing key accounts, winning new bids and shaping market campaigns with cross-functional teams.

You will work with cross-cultural teams, orchestrate client relationships and contribute to strategic growth in the global renewables sector. Remote/hybrid working options are available.

Qualifications

• Technical Sales / BD Lead ideally within renewable energy.
• Background in offshore wind / renewables / Engineering sales.
• B2B Business Development processes and technologies.
• Experience in setting up Sales & BD function/ team.

Responsibilities

• Head up Commercial arm: Business Development, Account Management, Sales & Marketing for offshore wind engineering consultancy.
• Manage your own BD and pipeline and help develop sales strategy.
• Devise and execute new ideas for Business Development campaigns (in conjunction with marketing agency).
• Use market knowledge to feed into Product Development Team.
• Mix of new and existing business: build relationships and grow accounts with existing clients and win new bids.
• Meet clients, attend events, webinars, content creation and renewables involvement.
