Job summary

Bellway is seeking a Commercial Manager for our Southern Counties division in Redhill. You will lead the commercial team, ensuring cost-effective services across bulk-housing developments and partnering with senior colleagues on margin improvement and land appraisals.

The role reports to the Commercial Director and offers progression from Senior/Senior Quantity Surveyor into broader commercial leadership while remaining close to operational delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor or Managing Surveyor.
• Strong knowledge of valuation and budgeting systems, health & safety/CDM regulations, and building regulations.
• Proven ability to lead and manage a team.
• CSCS card or equivalent; full driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the commercial team to provide cost-effective commercial service across bulk-housing developments.
• Oversee cost control, procurement, valuations, margin improvement and land appraisals.
• Prepare monthly valuations for presentation to senior leadership.
• Set sale prices for new budgets and manage fees/services budgets.
• Collaborate with the Commercial Director to drive margin improvement initiatives.
