Job summary

FRONTrunner Recruitment Ltd is seeking a commercial laundry engineer to service and maintain a range of commercial laundry equipment across Norfolk and parts of Suffolk. You will work on electrical and gas-fired machines and cover client sites such as nursing homes, hospitals, offices, holiday parks and hotels.

Candidates with gas certificates are preferred, but those with relevant electrical experience will be considered. Training on gas laundry equipment is provided where needed.

Qualifications

• Has existing domestic or commercial gas certificates (preferred)
• Good electrical competency
• Experience with commercial laundry equipment helpful but not required

Responsibilities

• Provide service and maintenance on commercial laundry equipment (washing machines, tumble dryers, rotary irons, finishing machines, dishwashers, dosing machines)
• Work on electrical and gas-fired equipment
• Cover Norfolk and parts of Suffolk
• Visit and service clients such as nursing homes, hospitals, offices, holiday parks and hotels

Good opportunities to work for a nationwide, commercial laundry company that is going through some great expansion these past few years.After a number of company acquisitions they are looking to strengthen their position to be able to provide a quality service to its clients.They have been running over 20 years and can count some very well know companies as clients.

Due to a expansion they are currently looking for a commercial laundry equipment engineer, you will be :-

• Providing service and maintenance on commercial laundry equipment commercial and industrial washing machines, tumble driers, rotary irons, finishing machines, dishwashers and some dosing machines
• Working on electrical and gas fired commercial laundry equipment
• Covering Norfolk and some Suffolk
• Working with clients such as nursing homes, hospitals, offices, holiday parks, hotels

Experience / skills required for a commercial laundry engineer

• Experience within commercial laundry equipment would be beneficial but is not essential
• They are looking to train someone up ongas commercial laundry equipment so need someone with existing domestic or commercial gas certificates
• They would also consider someone who has experience working on commercial catering equipment or commercial dishwashers
• Living ideally in the Norfolk area, the closer to the Norwich area the better
• Good electrical competency

Salary for a commercial laundry engineer

• 38k basic if you have any gas certificates
• 35k basic if you dont have gas certs but have relevant electrical industry experience
• Door to door travel pay
• 2k annual performance bonus paid on a quarterly basisVan, phone, overtime
• Call out rota for 1 weekend in 5
• 25 days holiday + 8 bank holidays
• Great further training on gas laundry equipment
