Location: Hook, UK (Hybrid type of work) Position Summary: This role will own the IT operations and enablement of Elanco’s digital strategy for our European Commercial affiliates. As our IT SiteOps Analyst for Commercial affiliates in Western Europe, you will be the primary IT point of contact, acting as a bridge between local commercial teams and IT.
You will own IT delivery of local and regional Commercial initiatives which need involvement of IT, and you will champion the adoption and efficient use of our global commercial technology capabilities, ensuring they meet the unique needs of each affiliate while aligning with Elanco’s global strategy. You will also support delivery of other local operational IT services & solutions as well as coordinate with IT service providers to maintain stability. Responsibilities: Site Operations IT is at the heart of the global IT organization ensuring the ‘rubber hits the road’ on Elanco’s growing digital investments positioned on modern IT architecture. The key responsibilities for this role include: * Represent all aspects of IT tolocalemployees, building a strong brand for IT * Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in both IT and the commercial business, effectively communicating updates, challenges, and opportunities. * Oversee local IT vendors ensuring service level agreements are met and value is maximized. * Gather, analyze, and prioritize local IT, ensuring alignment with global IT strategy * Maintain a strong understanding of global commercial capabilities and promote their adoption within the Western European affiliates, driving standardization * Lead and manage small to medium-sized IT projects related to local systems and processes * Actively participate in the country’s operational agendas to enable site “essential wins” * Own thetechnology and business use of localIT applications and related hardware,ensuring continuous operation, systems remain in a validated state and managelifecycles through releases and retirement * Ensure local adoption of global IT policies and processes * Oversight of localITservice provider resources ensuring theydeliver reliable, quality IT services * Understand and represent local compliance requirements for IT solutions/services e.g.
data privacy Basic Qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related Scientific area * Minimum three years’ experience in the implementation and support of IT systems and/or infrastructure Additional Skills & Preferences: * Proven experience in a similar IT analyst role * Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills * Understanding of commercial processes and technologies, such as CRM, marketing automation, sales analytics, sales data * Knowledge & experience of ITIL processes * Demonstrated ability to influence peers and business partners * Demonstrated ability to proactively identify issues and either resolve or escalate to the appropriate level for resolution * Build strong relationships with other IT functions * Strong analytical, problem solving and investigative skills * Experience in the Animal Health industry or Commercial environment, with a solid understanding of relevant processes and trends Travel: * 0-10% travel Elanco is an EEO/Affirmative Action Employer and does not discriminate on the basis of age, race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, national origin, protected veteran status, disability or any other legally protected status
