Clark James recruitment is seeking an experienced Account Handler to join the Commercial team of a leading UK Insurance Broker. You will manage your own portfolio of commercial accounts, secure renewals and arrange cover at competitive premiums.

You will build strong relationships with clients and underwriters, using your Insurance Account Handling experience or similar sales background, and demonstrate excellent communication to service key clients.

Qualifications

• Insurance account handling experience or experience in a similar professional sales role.
• Ability to manage a portfolio of accounts and renewals.
• Strong phone communication and people skills.

Job description

An exciting and lucrative role with one of the leading Insurance Brokers in the UK who are seeking an experienced Account Handler to join their Commercial team.

To apply you must have either Insurance Account Handling experience or experience in a similar kind of professional sales role and have the professionalism and authority to deal with important clients.

You will be responsible for your own portfolio of Accounts, securing renewals and arrange appropriate cover at a competitive premium. Building relationships with Underwriters is also a key part of this role so we are looking for someone highly personable. You will be good on the phone with excellent communication and people skills.
