Job summary

Global 4 Group in Horsham is seeking a Commercial Insights Analyst to turn performance data into actionable insights that drive growth across sales, marketing, acquisition, and retention. You will analyse performance and deliver dashboards and reports to support data-led decisions and measurable improvements across multiple touchpoints.

Strong SQL, Power BI and Advanced Excel skills are essential; experience with Google Analytics and Azure is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in data/commercial/reporting/insights roles with ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
• Strong technical and analytical capability using SQL, Power BI, Advanced Excel, GA, Azure and AI-driven tools to interrogate data and build reports.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify trends and opportunities.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management to present data to senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

What We Are Looking For

Location: Horsham

Employment Type: Permanent, full-time

Salary: Up to £40k depending on experience

Hours: 40 hours per week. Core working hours Monday-Friday (8:30am-5:30pm)

About The Role

With around 30,000 new sales opportunities generated through our partners each month and approximately 90,000 outbound customer calls, we're looking for a commercially focused and data-driven Commercial Insights Analyst to turn performance data into actionable insights that drive growth.

You’ll analyse performance across sales, marketing, acquisition, and customer retention, identifying trends, opportunities, and areas for optimisation. Working closely with Sales, Marketing, and wider business teams, you’ll provide clear reporting and recommendations that support informed decision-making and measurable improvements.

What You Will Be Doing

• Analyse sales, marketing, customer retention, and operational performance data, identifying trends, opportunities, and key drivers of business performance.
• Produce regular and ad hoc reporting and dashboards for senior stakeholders, transforming complex data into clear, meaningful, and actionable commercial insights.
• Work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and other business areas to identify efficiencies, improve decision-making, and support data-led strategies.
• Translate analysis into recommendations and measurable actions, helping to optimise customer outcomes, improve commercial performance, and support continued business growth.

What We Are Looking For

Essential Skills & Experience

• Proven experience within a data, commercial, reporting, performance, or insights-focused role, with the ability to analyse complex datasets and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
• Strong technical and analytical capability, with experience using SQL, Power BI, Advanced Excel, Google Analytics, Azure, and AI-driven tools to interrogate data, automate analysis, build insightful reports, and deliver actionable business recommendations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends, performance drivers, risks, and commercial opportunities.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present data and recommendations clearly to senior stakeholders and non-technical audiences.

Desirable Skills & Experience

• Experience analysing sales, marketing, customer retention/churn, or operational performance.
• Experience within a telecommunications, utilities, financial services, or other customer-focused environment.
• Experience developing dashboards, KPI frameworks, and management reporting to support commercial decision-making.
