Telecom Acquisitions Limited in Horsham is seeking a proactive Management Accountant to support accurate financial reporting and insightful analysis across the business. You will drive month-end closes, balance sheet reconciliations, P&L reporting and variance analysis while partnering with stakeholders to improve efficiency.

The role requires AAT/ACCA finalist level, strong Excel skills, and ability to deliver meaningful financial insight in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum AAT qualified or ACCA finalist with understanding of management accounting.
• Experience in month-end, P&L, balance sheet and cash flow reporting.
• Strong IT skills and proficiency with Excel and financial software.

Responsibilities

• Own key month-end activities including journals and reconciliations with commentary.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, KPI reports and financial analysis.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, margin analysis, and profitability reviews.
• Manage supplier queries and assist with payment runs; present results to CFO.

Employment Type: Permanent, full-time

Salary: Up to £40k depending on experience

Hours: 40 hours per week. Core working hours Monday-Friday (8:30am-5:30pm)

About The Role

We're looking for a proactive and commercially minded Management Accountant to join our Finance team, supporting the delivery of accurate financial reporting, insightful analysis, and effective financial control across the business. In this role, you'll work closely with stakeholders across multiple departments to prepare management accounts, support budgeting and forecasting activities, analyse financial performance, and provide meaningful insights to support strategic decision-making. You'll be responsible for month-end processes, balance sheet reconciliations, P&L reporting, variance analysis, and identifying opportunities to improve financial performance and operational efficiency. What You Will Be Doing

• Own key month-end activities, including journals, balance sheet reconciliations, P&L preparation, and commentary for multiple operating companies.
• Support the monthly reconciliation process for supplier invoices, elevate challenges and drive process change throughout the business.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, KPI reports, and financial analysis to support informed business decision-making.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes, undertake margin and profitability analysis, and review loss-making customers to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Manage supplier account queries and support payment runs, ensuring issues are resolved promptly and effectively.
• Present monthly financial results and provide ad hoc reporting and analysis to the CFO.

What We Are Looking For

• Minimum AAT qualified or ACCA finalist, with a strong understanding of management accounting principles, financial reporting, and month-end processes.
• Demonstrable knowledge of Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reporting, with the ability to identify trends, analyse performance, and support financial decision-making.
• Strong IT skills, with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and confidence using a range of financial systems and software.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly and effectively.
• A positive, proactive, and personable approach, with the ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic and fast-paced team environment.
• Self-motivated and highly organised, with the ability to manage priorities, work independently, and consistently meet deadlines.
• Willingness to support the wider Finance team and undertake additional responsibilities as required by the Finance Manager.
