Job summary
Daniel-Scott Recruitment Ltd. seeks an experienced Commercial Heating Service Engineer to cover the Midlands, delivering service, maintenance and fault-finding across commercial heating systems.
The role offers a permanent position with a competitive salary, company vehicle and overtime opportunities. You will service and maintain commercial heating systems, perform annual gas safety inspections, diagnose faults, and repair gas appliances, working with boilers, water heaters and pumps while
Qualifications
- Commercial Gas qualifications – essential.
- Experience servicing and repairing commercial heating systems.
- Good fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Experience with controls and electrics would be advantageous.
- A full UK driving licence, with a maximum of 6 points.
Responsibilities
- Servicing and maintaining commercial heating systems.
- Carrying out annual servicing and gas safety inspections.
- Diagnosing faults, leaks and system problems.
- Fault finding and repair of commercial gas appliances and associated systems.
- Working on boilers, water heaters, pumps and associated equipment.
- Identifying hazards, defects and equipment requiring repair, adjustment or replacement.
- Completing planned maintenance in accordance with customer contracts and agreed service requirements.
- Ensuring all work is completed within agreed timescales.
- Maintaining accurate service records and associated documentation.
- Reporting significant faults to Line Manager.
- Supporting the wider engineering team and contributing towards departmental targets.
