Job summary

First Recruitment Services is seeking an experienced Commercial Heating Engineer to service, maintain and repair a range of commercial and industrial heating systems across the Maidstone area.

You will fault-find, commission and troubleshoot boiler plant, pumps and related controls, while maintaining high safety and compliance standards and delivering excellent on-site service to customers. The role includes a company vehicle, pension and 25 days annual leave.

Qualifications

• ACS Commercial Gas qualifications are essential.
• Full UK Driving Licence is required.
• Minimum 2 years' experience on commercial heating systems is essential.
• OFTEC qualification and NVQ/City & Guilds (desirable) are nice-to-have.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, maintaining and repairing commercial and industrial heating systems.
• Diagnosing and rectifying faults across heating plant and controls.
• Commissioning commercial heating equipment.
• Working on boilers, burners, pumps, warm air heaters and plant room equipment.
• Completing service reports, certification and electronic job records.
• Carrying out site risk assessments to ensure safety and compliance.
• Providing excellent customer service on site.

Multi-manufacturer exposure

Education
