Job summary

RSK Group in Glasgow, Scotland is seeking a Commercial Gas Service Engineer to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. Our team of engineers and specialists supports FM contracts across sectors and regions.

You will perform maintenance visits, service gas systems, diagnose faults, and respond to gas safety incidents, all while adhering to regulatory requirements and using ACS-qualified competencies. A valid driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Domestic ACS qualifications: CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1, DAH1, CPA1
• Commercial ACS qualifications: COCN1, ICPN1, TPCP1, TPCP1A, CORT1, CIGA1
• Demonstrate high standards of working practice
• Awareness of Health & Safety Regulations
• Full clean and current driving licence

Responsibilities

• Carry out annual and interim maintenance visits in compliance with the Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations
• Replacement of heating controls and components as per manufacturer’s instructions
• Carry out Combustion Performance Analysis to gas appliances as required
• Fault investigation and diagnosis utilising manufacturer’s technical literature
• Attending reported gas escapes and reports of suspected fumes as per the Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations

Richard Irvin an RSK Group company are recruiting for a Commercial Gas Service Engineer to join the team based in Glasgow, Scotland. This is a full-time, permanent position.

Our team of engineers, operations staff, project managers and compliance specialists are trained to start with our clients’ individual needs and work outwards from there.
