Job summary

Babcock is seeking a qualified Gas Engineer to join the team at the Bicester estate. You will perform planned and reactive maintenance on commercial gas, heating, plumbing and water systems, ensuring safety and compliance across facilities.

Based onsite, you will work 40 hours weekly Monday to Friday, with an on-call rota and a company van provided. A strong Gas Safe background and relevant qualifications are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Commercial/Heating Gas Engineer in a commercial setting.
• Qualified gas safety technician with appropriate certification.
• Experience maintaining gas boilers and heating systems in large sites.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across gas, heating, plumbing and water systems.
• Service and fault-find gas boilers and heating equipment.
• Respond to maintenance issues including leaks and faulty pipework.
• Perform preventative maintenance on water systems with checks and inspections.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and work safely.
