Job summary

Branta Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer to cover Warrington, Cheshire and the North West. You will service, maintain, repair and install commercial gas systems across a variety of buildings including schools, healthcare sites, offices and retail facilities.

ACS-certified candidates with strong fault-finding skills, safety knowledge and a can-do attitude will thrive in this role, which includes on-site work, a call-out rota and a company van with tools provided.

Qualifications

• ACS Commercial Gas qualifications required, such as CODNCO1/COCN1, CIGA1, CDGA1, ICPN1 and TPCP1A.
• Proven experience in a commercial gas engineering role.
• Strong knowledge of gas safety regulations and PPM regimes.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain, repair and install commercial gas boilers and heating systems.
• Carry out fault diagnosis, reactive repairs and installation works.
• Perform planned preventative maintenance and compliance checks.
• Complete documentation and safety certificates to industry standards.
• Work across sites including schools, offices and healthcare environments.
• participate in a call-out rota with additional pay.

Education

Job description

Branta Recruitment is working with a reputable Facilities Services provider to recruit a skilled Commercial Gas Engineer for a mobile role across the Warrington and Cheshire / North West region.

You'll be responsible for the service, maintenance, repair, and installation of commercial gas systems in buildings such as schools, healthcare sites, offices, retail, and industrial facilities. The ideal candidate will be ACS-certified, self-sufficient, and experienced in delivering high-quality work across a range of commercial environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Service and maintain commercial gas boilers and heating systems.


• Carry out fault diagnosis, reactive repairs, and installation works.


• Conduct planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and compliance checks.


• Complete documentation and safety certificates in line with industry standards.


• Work across various sites including schools, offices, and healthcare environments.


• Be part of a call-out rota (additional pay provided).

Requirements
