Job summary

Start Monday is seeking an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to cover the St Albans and London areas. The role involves servicing, breakdowns, repairs and commissioning across varied commercial and industrial sites.

You will work on boilers, burners, water heaters, warm air and radiant tube systems, with on-call duties and a company van provided. Applicants should hold relevant gas qualifications and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Commercial gas qualifications listed: COCN1, CORT1, CIGA1, TPCP1 & 1A, ICPN1.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills required.
• Electrical testing experience.
• Relevant apprenticeship completed.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Comfortable working independently and dealing with customers.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, breakdowns, repairs and commissioning on commercial/industrial sites.
• Work on boilers, burners, water heaters and HVAC components.
• Gas pipework testing and purging.
• Electrical fault finding and testing.

Commercial Gas Engineer - St. Albans / London areas

Up to £56,000 Basic + Door-to-Door + Overtime + On-Call + Company Van

Looking for a varied Commercial Gas role where you're trusted to get on with the job?

We're working with a growing and well-established provider of bespoke energy and building services, looking for an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join their team.

Covering the St. Albans / London areas, you'll work across a varied portfolio of commercial and industrial sites, carrying out servicing, breakdowns, repairs and commissioning.

The Role

You'll be working on:

• Commercial boilers & forced-draught burners
• Water heaters
• Warm air & radiant tube systems
• Fault finding, repairs and commissioning
• Gas pipework testing and purging
• Electrical fault finding and testing
• Paid on-call rota

There will also be some ancillary mechanical/building services work, including pumps, expansion vessels, actuators and basic plumbing.

What you'll need
