Job summary

Skilled Careers is seeking an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to support a growing portfolio of commercial contracts across the South / South East. The role covers PPMs, reactive breakdowns, fault finding, call outs and minor installation works, across the South/South East regions.

Candidates must hold CCN1, CENWAT, CODNCCO1, CDGA1 and CIGA1 certifications, have health & safety training, excellent communication skills and a full driving licence.

• Recognised Health & Safety training.

Job description

Commercial Gas Engineer – South / South East

Our Client who is well established in the Building Services & FM arena are looking for an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join and support a growing portfolio of commercial contracts across the South / South East regions.

The Role

Duties will include:

• Commercial gas PPMs
• Reactive breakdowns
• Fault finding and diagnostics
• Call outs and emergency repairs
• Minor installation works

As a Commercial Gas Engineer you will need to hold valid Commercial Gas Qualifications, Proven experience within commercial environments, have a strong service and maintenance background, excellent fault finding experience.

Requirements / Qualifications

Essential

• Domestic / Commercial gas certification CCN1, CENWAT, CODNCCO1, CDGA1 and CIGA1.
• Recognised Health & Safety training
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction
• Full driving licence

Desirable

• NVQ 2/3 in relevant Mechanical discipline (or equivalent experience)
• OFTEC registered technician or knowledge / experience working on oil fired appliances / systems
• Unvented water systems
• WRAS Qualification
