Due to their success, they are now recruiting for a Commercial Gas Engineer to join the team.

JOB PURPOSE

The main objective of the role is to carry out installation work predominantly in commercial gas environments.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Servicing heating systems and boilers (domestic and commercial)
2. Installing pipes and fixtures for water, gas, air, or other liquids
3. Installation and fault finding on all types of heating systems and domestic hot and cold-water systems and carrying out necessary and appropriate repairs.
4. Use of press fit tools
5. Installing heating plant, domestic water plant and water heaters
6. Collaborating with contractors, construction workers, electricians, in installing and repairing plumbing.
7. Follows health and safety standards and complies with building codes
8. Writes report documenting the problem and summary of actions taken
9. Prepares material lists and schedules and oversees other workers, such as apprentices
10. Scheduled on the on-call rota, to attend sites and provide emergency plumbing support.
11. Any other plumbing duties deemed necessary as requested by the Manager and in line with the needs of the business.
