Job description

Commercial Gas Engineer – Portsmouth / Southampton

£40,000 - £50,000 plus travel time on top. We are representing an excellent building services company in need of a commercial gas engineer to operate across Portsmouth, Southampton, Winchester, and Salisbury service contract areas.

As a company, they are over 150 strong, with engineers across various disciplines including heating, cooling, mechanical, electrical, and general M&E maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Providing service, maintenance, and reactive works to commercial boilers, plant rooms, and mechanical systems.

• Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 depending on experience.
• The first 30 minutes of travel in the morning and the last 30 minutes of travel home at the end of the day are in your own time. Travel beyond this and outside of core hours will be paid.

• Call out 1 in 7, with a £200 retainer, 1.5x rate, and door-to-door when called.
• Overtime available.
