A leading recruitment group seeks a skilled Commercial Gas Engineer to join their expanding team in Dundee. Responsibilities include service, maintenance, repair, and installation of gas systems across various sectors including schools and healthcare. Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit a skilled and reliable Commercial Gas Engineer to join our team based in the Dundee area.
As a Commercial Gas Engineer, you will be responsible for the service, maintenance, repair, and installation of commercial gas systems and appliances in a range of premises including schools, offices, retail outlets, healthcare facilities, and industrial sites.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance on commercial gas heating systems.
Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on boilers, heaters, and related equipment.
Complete new installation projects, including pipework and plant room setups.
Ensure all work complies with current regulations and safety standards.
Complete job reports, risk assessments, and compliance documentation accurately and on time.
Liaise with clients and site contacts in a professional manner.
Participate in a standby/on-call rota as required.
Essential Requirements:
ACS Commercial Gas qualifications: COCN1 or CODNCO1, CIGA1, ICPN1, CDGA1, TPCP1/1A.
Proven experience in commercial gas engineering (minimum 3 years).
Full UK driving licence.
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
Good understanding of health & safety regulations.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable:
LPG and Oil qualifications.
Previous experience working in FM or with service contracts.
