Commercial Gas Engineer

Permanent

The role involves working mainly across the north of England, with occasional overnight stays. The candidate must be comfortable with travel and working in environments such as care homes, dental surgeries, GP practices, and schools. An enhanced DBS check is necessary due to the nature of the sites.

The ideal candidate will have experience in servicing, repairing, and maintaining gas appliances. Key duties include:

1. Installation and setup of gas appliances and systems, including pipework
2. Maintenance of existing installations
3. Fault diagnosis and repairs, including leaks and safety issues
4. Developing and maintaining gas safety plans and systems
5. Scheduling and managing return visits
6. Conducting gas safety inspections
7. Completing relevant gas safety paperwork
8. Ensuring adherence to safety regulations on site
