Job summary

Commercial Gas Engineer required in Bristol to join our established client on a permanent basis. You will service, maintain, repair and install commercial gas systems across Bristol and surrounding areas, ensuring high safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate will hold Commercial Gas qualifications / ACS, have solid experience with boilers and heating systems, and possess a full UK driving licence. You will work with clients and site teams, delivering reliable, compliant gas services.

Qualifications

• Commercial Gas qualifications / ACS must be held.
• Experience as a Commercial Gas Engineer is essential.
• Strong knowledge of commercial heating and boiler systems.
• Experience with servicing, fault finding and reactive maintenance.
• Good understanding of current gas safety regulations.
• Full UK driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on commercial gas systems
• Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works
• Diagnose faults and perform effective repairs
• Work on commercial boilers, heating systems and associated plant
• Complete gas safety checks and ensure equipment is operating safely
• Carry out installation and replacement works where required
• Complete job sheets and relevant documentation accurately
• Liaise professionally with customers, clients and site teams
• Ensure all work complies with health & safety and gas regulations
• Work independently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship

Bristol | £45,000 - £51,000 per annum | Permanent

Sora Recruitment are currently working with an established and growing building services company who are looking for an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified Commercial Gas Engineer looking for a stable, long-term position with a company that values its engineers and offers excellent opportunities for progression.

The Role

As a Commercial Gas Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance, reactive repairs, servicing and installation works across a range of commercial sites throughout Bristol and the surrounding areas.

You will work closely with clients and site teams, ensuring all works are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will have:

• Commercial Gas qualifications / ACS
• Relevant experience working as a Commercial Gas Engineer
• Strong knowledge of commercial heating and boiler systems
• Experience with servicing, fault finding and reactive maintenance
• Good understanding of current gas safety regulations
• Full UK driving licence
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
• A professional attitude with a strong focus on quality and safety
