You will work across the business with managers, explaining financial performance, supporting budgets and projections, and providing useful analysis to support management decisions.

Qualifications

• Strong grounding in management or commercial finance.
• Experience working with people outside the finance function.
• Excellent communication skills; able to explain numbers clearly and challenge decisions when needed.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with managers across the organisation.
• Explain how each area performs financially to stakeholders.
• Support budgets and regular financial projections.
• Analyse movements in financial performance and explain underlying factors.
• Produce useful financial analysis to support management decisions.
• Provide input from finance on new ideas, projects and expenditure.
• Improve the quality and usefulness of management information.
• Help develop more efficient methods of producing and sharing financial information.
• Encourage greater financial understanding among colleagues outside of finance.
