Job summary

SSE plc is hiring a Commercial Finance Manager to partner the Onshore Wind, Solar & Battery business (OWSB) and oversee performance of OSWB assets across the UK, Ireland and Europe. The role emphasizes business analysis, budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning and performance improvement.

You will report to the Head of Commercial Finance OWSB and work with senior stakeholders to deliver monthly results, annual budgets and 10-year plans.

Qualifications

• Strong financial modelling and scenario analysis
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive decisions

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver robust Directorate forecasts, budgets and long-term plans
• Lead month-end reporting and financial insight for OSWB assets
• Evaluate investment decisions and opportunities across OWSB
• Collaborate with Commercial, Corporate Finance and business teams
• Identify risks and opportunities and provide management reporting insights
