Job summary

SSE plc is hiring a Commercial Finance Manager to partner the Onshore Wind, Solar & Battery business in the UK, Ireland and Europe. The role focuses on performance analysis, budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning to deliver monthly results and long-term plans.

You will collaborate with senior stakeholders and JVs to drive financial insight, challenge assumptions, and support investment decisions and business improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years post qualified experience in a business partnering/finance role.
• Ability to interpret multiple data sources and translate into insights and actions.
• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills.
• Proven ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end management reporting and ensure MI is used for decision making.
• Coordinate and lead robust Directorate forecasts, budgets and long-term planning.
• Evaluate investment decisions and assess commercial opportunities across OWSB.
• Identify risks and opportunities with operational and commercial teams and compute sensitivities.
• Support broader projects for the OWSB business.
