Job summary

Morgan Mckinley (Crawley) is seeking a qualified accountant to own the commercial finance agenda within a fast-growing business. You will report to the MD and influence P&L performance, trading, forecasting, pricing and growth strategy, while leading the commercial finance team.

The role requires ACA/ACCA/CIMA credentials, strong FP&A experience, excellent Excel modelling, and hands-on collaboration with senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified
• Strong commercial finance or FP&A background
• Excellent Excel modelling skills
• Experience with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau

Responsibilities

• Own P&L and trading performance analysis
• Budgeting, forecasting and cashflow planning
• Develop commercial models, pricing and unit economics
• Provide insights to commercial and marketing teams
• Drive margin improvement and cost optimisation
• Assess new opportunities and investment cases
• Prepare Board-level reporting
• Lead and develop the commercial finance team

I'm looking for a qualified accountant with strong commercial finance / FP&A experience to join a fast-growing, ambitious business and take ownership of its commercial finance agenda.

Reporting directly to the MD, you'll have real influence across P&L performance, trading, pricing, forecasting, investment and growth strategy.

What you'll be doing:

• Full ownership of P&L and trading performance
• Budgeting, forecasting and cashflow planning
• Commercial modelling, pricing and unit economics
• Providing insight to commercial and marketing teams
• Driving margin improvement and cost optimisation
• Assessing new opportunities and investment cases
• Producing Board-level reporting and insight
• Leading and developing the commercial finance team
• Improving BI reporting and financial analysis

What we're looking for:

• ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified
• Strong commercial finance or FP&A background
• Excellent Excel modelling skills
• Experience with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau
• Commercially sharp with a strong understanding of P&L and margins
• Confident operating with senior stakeholders and at Board level
• Hands-on, energetic and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
