Job summary

HW Finance is partnering with a successful retail business in West Yorkshire to recruit a Commercial Finance Manager. The role is highly commercial, driving division performance and turning insights into opportunities in close collaboration with finance and commercial teams.

You will partner with the leadership team, own performance reporting, manage financial planning for revenue and costs, and lead project and investment assessments.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification required.
• Strong commercial finance background.
• Excellent stakeholder management; ability to challenge senior stakeholders.
• Ability to build effective relationships and drive improvements in commercial decision making.
• Analytical background with clear presentation of information.
• Strong attention to detail; proactive and commercial in approach.

About the role:

This is a truly commercial role, driving the performance of the division, and using insight to drive change. You will provide relevant analysis to turn insights into opportunities, working closely with the wider finance and commercial teams.

• Manage financial planning process for revenue and costs, ensuring alignment with strategic plans
• Lead assessment of projects and potential investment
• Ensure monthly performance is understood, partnering closely with commercial and operational stakeholders

About You:

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified
• Strong commercial finance background
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with ability and confidence to liaise with and challenge senior stakeholders
• Ability to build effective relationships and drive improvements to commercial decision making
• Analytical background, with ability to present information clearly
• Strong attention to detail
• Proactive and commercial in approach
