Circle Health Group is seeking a Commercial Finance Manager to oversee financial performance for Runnymede, Saxon Clinic, and Manor Hospitals. The role covers hospital-level planning, analysis, and governance, ensuring robust financial controls and commercial appraisal of investments.

You will lead a team, work with senior management across sites, and contribute to training on financial tools and processes to drive value and efficiency across the hospital network.

Qualificações

• Extensive experience in a senior finance role.
• Experience in multi-site or distributed environments with local P&L responsibility.
• Proven ability to manage change within the finance function.
• Strong technology skills, including computerised financial systems and MS Office.
• Demonstrated ability to appraise complex situations and identify key issues.

Responsabilidades

• Provide finance support and expertise for hospital Senior Management Teams, driving understanding of performance (KPIs, trends, revenue, costs, EBITDAR).
• Ensure adherence to Circle Health Group financial control policies and approval limits.
• Deliver disciplined cost management, working capital focus, and rigorous financial appraisals for business development and capital proposals.
• Be responsible for hospital financial planning and monitoring.
• Lead and train hospital Senior Management Team and Heads of Department on financial matters and tools.
• Promote high-quality financial processes and accurate chart of accounts usage across hospitals.

Commercial Finance Manager

Runnymede, Saxon Clinic and Manor Hospitals 37.5 Hours & Permanent Salary: Up to £73,500 per annum (depending on level of experience, training and qualification)

Runnymede Hospital in Chertsey, The Saxon Clinic in Milton Keynes and The Manor Hospital in Bedford are part of Circle Health Group, Britain's leading provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals & clinics, performing more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country.

This is a Full time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.

Duties

• You provide finance support and expertise for hospital Senior Management Teams, driving a clear understanding of the operational and financial performance of the hospital (KPIs, trends, revenue, costs and EBITDAR).
• You ensure that CHG’s financial control policies (including approval and authority limits) are followed where relevant.
• You ensure that a disciplined and consistent approach is taken to the management of costs and within-hospital working capital and that all business development and capital proposals are accompanied by a rigorous and commercially astute financial appraisal.
• You are responsible for hospital financial planning and monitoring.
• You act as a leader of expertise and acumen amongst the hospital Senior Management Team and Heads of Department, providing guidance and ad hoc training on financial matters and the use of financial tools within hospitals.
• You act as a leader in quality and consistency of financial process and analysis within hospitals, including accuracy of the use of charts of accounts and department / cost centre structures within hospitals, and an influencer of high-quality process and attention to detail across the entire hospital, including patient administration.
• You comply with all relevant mandatory training.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in senior finance role.
• Experience of multi-site or otherwise distributed working environments, with local profit and loss responsibility.
• Demonstrated experience in managing change successfully within the finance function.
• Strong technology skills, including computerised financial systems and Microsoft Office.
• Demonstrated ability to quickly appraise complex situations and to identify key issues.
• Formal finance qualification.
