Job summary

White Recruitment Construction in Coventry is seeking a commercially focused Finance Controller to support senior management with forecasting, analysis and business insight. You will partner with operations across multiple sites to drive financial performance and strategic decisions.

The role reports to the Finance Director and offers exposure to a major international organisation, with a competitive package and benefits.

Qualifications

• Studying towards or newly qualified CIMA / ACCA.
• Strong commercial finance, management accounting or analytical experience.
• Excellent Excel and financial modelling skills.
• Strong commercial acumen and stakeholder management ability.
• Comfortable working within a fast-paced, multi-site environment.
• SAP / Oracle EPM experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Produce meaningful financial reporting, analysis and performance commentary.
• Analyse actual performance against budgets, forecasts and prior year.
• Partner with operational and commercial teams to improve performance.
• Analyse sales, margins, volumes, pricing and commercial trends.
• Support annual budgeting and ongoing forecasting processes.
• Identify commercial risks, opportunities and cost-saving initiatives.
• Produce financial models and scenario analysis for new opportunities.
• Support commercial proposals, bids and tenders.
• Develop KPI reporting for senior management.
• Improve financial controls, reporting and accounting processes.

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a commercially minded finance professional to join a major international organisation, working closely with operational and senior management teams to improve financial performance.
