Are you a finance professional ready to step into a strategic, visible, and influential role?

We are seeking a commercially astute, financially literate, and highly proactive analyst to drive automation, financial planning, and commercial insight across multiple business functions. Working closely with senior leadership, you will transform raw financial data into actionable insights and introduce smart, AI-driven processes to improve how the organization manages spend, reporting, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with the COO to provide a consolidated and strategic view of departmental spend across HR, IT, Tech, Operations, and Product.
• Analyse financial data from flat-file sources (Sage, Oracle, SAP exports), and transform it into dynamic reports and dashboards.
• Lead the design and implementation of automation and AI tools to streamline invoice approvals, financial reporting, and budget planning.
• Identify and deliver opportunities for smarter procurement, outsourcing, or contract renegotiation to reduce spend.
• Work on forecasting, planning, and scenario modelling – e.g., pricing changes, vendor management strategies.
• Collaborate with the Finance Director and Retail Director to align reporting standards.
• Assist with the implementation of payment and billing systems, particularly for corporate clients using RVS services.
• Introduce best practices in commercial operations – ideally with experience from a vendor/seller perspective.

Position Type: Permanent | Full-time (35 hours/week)

Experience & Skills

• Experience in commercial finance, operations, or transformation. You may be a qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) with experience in business partnering, or qualified by experience with strong financial expertise.
• Advanced Excel skills are essential, ideally with experience automating data handling and analysis processes.
• AI-savvy – recent hands-on experience with tools like ChatGPT, Power BI AI visuals, CoPilot, or automation platforms.
• Self-starter with high initiative; comfortable challenging existing processes.
• Strong interpersonal skills – confident engaging with long-tenure staff and senior stakeholders.
• Experience leading manual finance environments towards modernisation and automation.
• Commercial mindset: confident in pricing, scenario modelling, and investment-style thinking.
