Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking a Finance Analyst for Manheim Auction Services to drive commercial performance. You will partner with senior stakeholders, deliver financial and operational analysis, and support forecasting and planning across the business.

You will analyse customer profitability, revenue trends, and pricing impact, building models to evaluate opportunities while contributing to reporting improvements and business partnering with Sales and Operations.

Qualifications

• Experience within a Finance Analyst, Commercial Finance, FP&A, or Management Accounts environment.
• Strong Excel skills and confidence working with large data sets.
• Experience producing financial reports, forecasts, and business analysis.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence non-finance stakeholders.
• A proactive approach and desire to improve processes and reporting.
• Ambition to develop within a commercial finance function.
• Studying towards ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification.
• Experience using Power BI or similar reporting tools.
• Exposure to commercial pricing, profitability analysis, or business partnering.

Responsibilities

• Delivering insightful financial and operational performance analysis.

• Producing management information and performance reporting for key stakeholders.
• Supporting pricing reviews, contract negotiations, and tender submissions.
• Calculating and managing sales commission schemes accurately and efficiently.
• Building financial models to evaluate commercial opportunities and business initiatives.
• Collaborating with Sales, Operations, and senior leadership teams to improve performance.
• Identifying trends, risks, and opportunities through meaningful data analysis.
• Contributing to continuous improvements in reporting, processes, and controls.
