Job summary

Aila Recruitment is partnering with a market-leading business in Aylesbury to appoint a Commercial Finance Analyst on a permanent basis. You will report to the Group Financial Controller and move beyond transactional work into commercial analysis, owning weekly and monthly reporting while partnering across Sales, Service, Installations, Operations and Stores.

Qualifications

• Experience in management accounting or FP&A.
• Excellent Excel skills with budgets/forecasts.
• Ability to translate data into recommendations for non-finance colleagues.
• Commercial curiosity with constructive challenge to managers.
• Studying ACCA or CIMA.

Responsibilities

• Produce weekly and monthly reporting, dashboards and MI.
• Analyse revenue, margin, overheads, working capital and cash; explain variances with actions.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and longer-term planning; build financial models.
• Analyse project/installation profitability (labour, materials, subcontractors, WIP).
• Review contract profitability, productivity and manpower utilisation.
• Analyse product/customer profitability, pricing and discounts; partner with ops managers.
