Job description

This is an exciting role for a commercial analyst to join a reputable private equity backed real estate company. As a Commercial Finance Analyst, your main responsibility will be to partner with the Sales team, taking ownership of the annual budgeting and quarterly reforecasting of office revenue and other revenue streams. You will act as the first point of contact for ad hoc queries from the Sales team, providing analysis/modelling to support business decisions.

What you'll do:
  • Own the annual Office Revenue budget and forecast model
  • Work closely with the Sales team to capture key inputs/assumptions
  • Present the Office Revenue budget to Senior Leadership for approval
  • Prepare materials for investors summarising the budget approach and outcome
  • Responsible for quarterly reforecast of office revenue
  • Act as primary Finance point of contact for queries from Sales team
  • Provide essential commercial analysis to the business through monthly Management Report
  • Support business decisions with financial analysis, including price reviews and deal approvals
What you bring:
  • Strong proficiency in financial modelling with advanced Excel skills
  • At least two years' post-qualified experience working within Commercial Finance / FP&A function
  • Ability to analyse datasets, identify trends and draw conclusions by combining financial and non-financial data
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail
  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent)
  • Proficient user of MS Excel and PowerPoint
