This is a hybrid role, with office-based work 2-3 days per week.

Role Overview

As Commercial Finance Analyst, you will partner across functions to provide financial and analytical support, helping inform strategic decisions. You will work closely with the Trading Business Partner and support the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience in a similar role, with knowledge of the retail industry and its competition
• Resilient, adaptable, and capable of navigating challenges
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Strong Excel skills and a commercial mindset

Key Responsibilities

• Producing insights on weekly sales performance for the business and Board
• Ownership of reporting and analysis with retail and e-commerce teams
• Working with senior stakeholders on risks, opportunities, and developing commercial models
• Building financial models for commercial opportunities, property appraisals, operational reviews, and new partnerships
• Leading the FP&A process
• Collaborating with the Commercial Finance Manager and Director to enhance profitability and growth
• Providing insightful commentary on financial results and KPIs
