We're seeking a commercially minded Finance Analyst to join our progressive Financial Performance team. Ideally, candidates from a retail or FMCG background will support various business areas during an exciting period of change, helping to shape the company's future direction.

This role involves supporting, challenging, reviewing, and interpreting business performance. You will assist in forecasting expenditure, providing analysis and insights to support the Senior Finance team and business units.

Your responsibilities include identifying and analyzing key revenue and cost drivers, reporting on progress against strategic priorities, and supporting performance improvement efforts. You will also produce post-investment reviews and develop reports to highlight key learnings, actions, and emerging trends.

This is a hybrid role based in Lichfield, combining office work with remote working.

How will I know if I am right for this role?

• As a Qualified or Part-Qualified Accountant, you should be proactive, able to work independently, and demonstrate initiative in resolving issues.
• You should have experience in budgeting and forecasting, with enthusiasm to develop your finance career.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen is essential, with an understanding of sales and profitability drivers.
• You must be capable of challenging existing practices and processes.
• Attention to detail and a continuous improvement mindset are important.
• Organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines are required, along with strong Excel skills and experience in handling large data sets to provide high-quality insights.
