Smurfit Westrock in Wetherby is seeking a Commercial Executive to support business growth by building strong customer relationships and delivering value to the team. You will engage cross-functionally to identify opportunities, drive profitability, and ensure smooth operations in a fast-paced packaging environment.

As a Commercial Executive, you will prepare competitive estimates, manage costs, and coordinate with suppliers to meet deadlines while upholding safety and quality standards.

Are you commercially minded, organised and enjoy working with people to find solutions? We're looking for a Commercial Executive to join our team in Wetherby, where you'll play an important role in supporting business growth, building strong relationships and helping us deliver the best outcomes for our customers.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing and processing accurate, competitive estimates.
• Identifying opportunities to manage costs and maximise profitability.
• Working with colleagues and suppliers to ensure materials arrive on time and within budget.
• Supporting customer relationships and contributing to business growth.
• Using data and analysis to solve problems and support commercial decisions.

What you'll bring

• A proactive, positive approach and a willingness to learn.
• Strong organisation, attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships.
• Confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• The ability to manage priorities and work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Experience in POS, corrugated packaging or manufacturing would be beneficial, but we're interested in your skills, potential and what you can bring to the team.
