Salary: up to £35,000 depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights. London weighting £5,319 will be added on top of the base salary

Location: Office base is London

(This is a hybrid role and the successful candidate will balance office working with home working.)

ABOUT The Team

The Business Development, Global Productions team sits at the heart of BBC Studios’ commercial strategy. We work with internationally renowned brands, from Dancing with the Stars to The Great Bake Off, helping expand their reach through dynamic Brand Partnerships, licensing campaigns, and format deals across global markets.

This team is passionate about delivering creative and commercial value through world-class brand integrations. Our remit spans across global territories (excluding the UK), collaborating with production partners, local broadcasters, and top-tier brands to create 360-degree commercial campaigns – from on-air integration to experiential activations. THE ROLE

We are looking for a commercially minded and creatively driven individual to support the Commercial Executive in delivering brand partnerships, licensing opportunities, and commercial innovation for BBC Studios-owned formats and third-party brands internationally.

You’ll play a key role in supporting commercial campaigns from inception to rollout, working with international broadcasters, internal production teams, and brand stakeholders to deliver integrated brand solutions. This includes building pitch collateral, advising on brand integrations while maintaining editorial integrity, and managing the creative approvals process. Your work will have a direct impact on the global success of some of the world’s most recognised television formats.

This is a collaborative, fast-paced, and multifaceted role offering the opportunity to work on high-profile international media properties and build experience with top-tier global brands.

WHAT DOES IT TAKE?

Essential Criteria

• Background in marketing, design, or related creative commercial field.
• Strong PowerPoint and design skills, with the ability to build professional sales collateral and visual presentations.
• Experience working with or for world-class consumer brands or media properties.
• Previous exposure to brand partnerships, licensing, or commercial marketing campaigns.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to collaborate across international teams.
  
  

DESIRABLE CRITERIA

• Experience in the media, entertainment, or broadcast industry.
• Familiarity with global brand licensing practices or IP roll-outs across multiple territories.
• Strong commercial instincts and some experience with deal negotiation or legal contracting.
• Knowledge of managing creative approval processes and campaign timelines.
• Foreign language skills or experience working in international markets.
