Job summary

S Knights Recruitment is seeking a Commercial Executive in Lancaster to manage a portfolio of customer accounts, drive growth, and deliver exceptional service. The role is hybrid with office days and home working Fridays, offering a salary starting from £25,000 per year.

You will collaborate with the Commercial team to achieve income targets while supporting education sector clients with market-leading products and services.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of customer accounts to maximise retention.

  • Maintain accurate CRM records and monitor performance.
  • Support forecasting through regular engagement and data analysis.
  • Develop new business by building a strong sales pipeline.
  • Monitor competitor activity to identify opportunities.
  • Represent the organisation at meetings, conferences, and events.
  • Support regulatory compliance and continuous service improvement.

Commercial Executive

Location: Lancaster (Hybrid) – 35 hours per week. Monday–Thursday in the Lancaster Head Office, with home working on Fridays (flexible working options considered).

Salary: Starting from £25,000 per annum

The Role

As a Commercial Executive, you will manage your own portfolio of customer accounts while identifying opportunities to retain, grow, and develop new business.

  • Managing a portfolio of customer accounts to maximise retention and achieve income targets.
  • Building trusted relationships as the primary point of contact for customers.
  • Managing customer enquiries through to resolution while delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Working collaboratively with internal teams to ensure excellent service delivery, meeting SLAs and KPIs.
  • Maintaining accurate CRM records and monitoring account performance.
  • Supporting forecasting through regular customer engagement and data analysis.
  • Developing new business opportunities by building a strong sales pipeline and identifying growth opportunities.
  • Monitoring competitor activity to maximise opportunities within existing and prospective customers.
  • Representing the organisation at customer meetings, conferences, and events.
  • Supporting regulatory compliance, risk management, and continuous service improvement.
