Commercial Excellence Business Analyst EMEIA

Reporting to: Head of Pricing & Recurring Revenue, EMEIA
Location: Opening Solutions EMEIA Headquarters, Woking, UK
Secondment: 3-month secondment in Europe to expand your skills

The ASSA ABLOY Opening Solutions EMEA division specializes in door openings and access products for homes, businesses, and institutions, including doors, hardware, locks, and access control. Purpose of the Role:

Reporting to the Head of Pricing & Recurring Revenue EMEIA, we seek an ambitious self-starter to join our growing Commercial Excellence team. The role involves developing, implementing, and sharing best practices in tools and processes to enhance business performance. You will oversee the Commercial Excellence assessment process, working closely with regional teams, colleagues, and IT providers to improve platforms and workflows.

Your focus will be on delivering top-tier processes supported by advanced tools, enabling proactive commercial decisions to support sales growth and EBIT targets. You will also support various programs, including Customer Experience, CRM, D365, Full Potential sales, and training initiatives.

Principal Responsibilities:
  1. Coordinate and support the Commercial Excellence assessment processes from initiation to completion.
  2. Compile and publish annual results and distribute awards.
  3. Manage the Commercial Excellence online platform and liaise with suppliers for ongoing improvements.
  4. Maintain and develop the Commercial Excellence website, including new modules.
  5. Support the Customer Experience program, including Customer Journey Mapping and survey rollout.
  6. Develop training materials and webinars in collaboration with marketing and e-business teams.
  7. Assist in developing pricing training sessions and support the Full Potential sales project.
  8. Prepare communications and presentations for Commercial Excellence activities.
  9. Participate in meetings and assessment visits as needed.
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
  • BA or BSc in Business/Finance or related field.
  • Experience in a global, multi-cultural organization is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and networking skills.
  • Understanding of project management and customer-facing processes.
  • Knowledge of sales support technologies like CRM and BI tools.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Willingness to travel 15-25% of the time.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
