Job summary

Remarkable Jobs is recruiting an experienced Installation Engineer to install, commission and maintain electrical and ventilation systems across commercial kitchens. The role requires hands-on electrical work with HVAC/ventilation experience and a full UK driving licence, with some travel and after-hours work expected.

The successful candidate will work on diverse customer sites, receive full product training and join a growing engineering team known for delivering reliable environmental control

Qualifications

• 18th Edition BS7671 Wiring Regulations required.
• Hands-on HVAC, ventilation or air extraction experience required.
• Qualified electrician with Level 2 or 3 electrical qualifications.
• Experience in commercial electrical installation, servicing or maintenance.
• Knowledge of BMS or ventilation control systems advantageous.
• City & Guilds 2391 desirable.
• ECS Gold Card preferred.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Full UK driving licence required.
• Willingness to travel and undertake some evening/night work.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission and maintain specialist electrical and ventilation control systems.
• Conduct site surveys, installations, PPM and reactive callouts.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical and control system faults.
• Carry out system testing, commissioning and handovers to customers.
• Plan workloads across multiple customer sites.
• Prepare technical reports and service documentation.
• Ensure work complies with electrical regs and safety standards.

The Opportunity

Remarkable Jobs is recruiting on behalf of an established and growing specialist engineering company seeking an experienced Installation Engineer to join its team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified electrician with HVAC or ventilation experience who enjoys hands-on engineering, problem-solving and working across different customer sites.

The role involves installing, commissioning and maintaining specialist electrical and ventilation control systems within commercial kitchens.

Some evening and night work is required, as installations must often take place outside normal kitchen operating hours.

Full training on the company's specialist systems will be provided.

Key Responsibilities
