Job summary

Frasers Group is seeking a commercially-minded Data Protection Advisor to support the delivery of the group’s data protection framework across a multi-brand business. You will work with the Data Protection Manager to provide clear, pragmatic advice balancing regulatory requirements with commercial outcomes.

Experience in financial services or other regulated environments will bring valuable perspective on managing data risk at scale.

Qualifications

• Experience in data protection, privacy, compliance or risk governance in regulated environments.
• Strong knowledge of UK GDPR, Data Protection Act 2018 and PECR.
• Ability to translate regulation into practical guidance for business.
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail with high professional standards.
• Confident communicator capable of building relationships across levels.

Responsibilities

• Support ongoing delivery and evolution of the Group’s data protection compliance framework.
• Act as a trusted contact for internal stakeholders, translating data protection requirements into practical guidance.
• Manage data subject rights requests including DSARs, erasure, objection and restriction.
• Assist with investigation, management and reporting of personal data breaches cross-functionally.
• Maintain governance docs including RoPAs, DPIAs and LIAs.
• Review data protection clauses across contracts, DPAs and supplier agreements.
• Support privacy by design across new projects and systems.
• Deliver and support training and awareness across the Group.
• Monitor regulatory developments and contribute to policy updates.
