Job summary

Colas Roads UK is seeking a motivated Commercial Assistant to join the team on a 6-month fixed-term contract, based at our depot in Bescot, WS1 4NL. The role focuses on cost reconciliation and value recovery, ensuring costs are allocated to the correct jobs with supporting documentation provided to the Finance/Data Team.

You'll collaborate with Operations, Planning and the DNP Team to gather accurate information, check data, and resolve discrepancies, while providing broader commercial support

Qualifications

• Motivated and detail-focused candidate with strong Excel skills and ability to analyse data.
• Experience in finance/commercial environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review and reconcile costs, ensuring they are allocated to the correct jobs.
• Prepare cost information and supporting documents for upload to the database.
• Provide regular updates on costs to date and maintain accurate records.
• Support the wider Commercial Team with additional duties as required.
