Job summary

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor with 3–5 PQE in commercial law.
• Strong experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts.
• Experience of IT-related matters including SaaS agreements, software licensing, and systems integration is desirable.
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
• Proactive, commercially minded, and able to manage own workload.

Responsibilities

• Advise on a broad range of commercial matters including general commercial contracts, IT, intellectual property, privacy and data protection.
• Draft, review and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements including supply, purchase and distribution agreements, outsourcing arrangements, media and marketing contracts and technology agreements.
• Work with a diverse client base ranging from ambitious SMEs to national and international brands.
• Take ownership of matters and play an active role in strategic client projects.
• Build strong, long term relationships with clients and provide clear, pragmatic and commercially focused legal advice.
• Join a supportive and collaborative commercial team with a strong reputation in the retail and technology sectors.
