Job summary

LC Legal in Leeds is seeking a Commercial Lawyer to join a high-performing team. You will work with a broad client base, advising on a wide range of commercial matters including technology, IP and data/privacy.

The role offers hybrid working, exposure to SMEs through to national brands and clear career progression within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ PQE with a solid grounding in commercial contracts.
• Strong drafting skills and the ability to deliver clear, commercially focused advice.
• Exposure to technology‑related work and data/privacy matters.
• Collaborative approach with an interest in mentoring and team development.

Responsibilities

• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a range of commercial agreements (supply, purchase and distribution contracts, outsourcing arrangements, media and marketing contracts, and technology agreements).
• Advising clients on day‑to‑day commercial issues as well as strategic projects.
• Taking increasing ownership of matters and building your own client relationships.
• Supporting and mentoring more junior lawyers within the team.

The role

You’ll work with a broad client base, from fast-growing SMEs to established national and international brands, advising on a wide range of commercial matters. The work spans general commercial contracts, technology, IP and data/privacy, providing real variety and scope to broaden your expertise.

Key responsibilities include:
