Job summary

ENL Legal Recruitment seeks a Commercial Contracts Solicitor in Leeds with 3–5 years' PQE to join a highly regarded team. You will advise on a broad range of commercial matters, draft and negotiate contracts, and work with a diverse client base—from ambitious SMEs to national brands.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor with 3–5 years PQE in commercial law.
• Strong experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts.
• Experience with IT matters including SaaS agreements and software licensing desirable.
• Commercially minded, proactive and able to manage own workload.
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Advise on a broad range of commercial matters including general commercial contracts, IT, IP, privacy and data protection.
• Draft, review and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements including supply, purchase and distribution, outsourcing, media and marketing, and technology agreements.
• Build long‑term client relationships and provide pragmatic, commercially focused legal advice.
• Mentor junior colleagues and contribute to the team’s development.
• Take ownership of matters and contribute to strategic client projects.

• Draft, review and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements including supply, purchase and distribution agreements, outsourcing arrangements, media and marketing contracts and technology agreements.
• Work with a diverse client base ranging from ambitious SMEs to national and international brands.
• Take ownership of matters and play an active role in strategic client projects.
• Build strong, long term relationships with clients and provide clear, pragmatic and commercially focused legal advice.
• Suitable for qualified Solicitors with 3–5 years' PQE in commercial law.
• Strong experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts is essential.
• Experience of IT related matters including SaaS agreements, software licensing and systems integration would be highly desirable.
• Commercially minded, proactive and confident in managing your own workload.
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills required.
