Job summary

Time Recruitment Solutions Ltd in Kent is seeking a Commercial Contracts Manager with a strong joinery background to lead projects from pricing through delivery. You will collaborate with clients, suppliers and internal teams to ensure commercial success.

The role requires estimating, procurement, design review and contract management, with the ability to read technical drawings and negotiate effectively. Hybrid working is available after onboarding.

Are you a commercially minded professional with a strong joinery background and experience across estimating, procurement, design, and contract management?

We're looking for an experienced Commercial Contracts Manager to join a growing business in Kent. This is a genuinely varied role where you'll take ownership of projects from initial pricing and procurement through to delivery, working closely with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.

This opportunity would suit someone who has progressed through the joinery industry and understands the commercial and operational aspects of delivering successful projects.

The Role

• Manage projects from enquiry through to completion
• Prepare estimates, cost plans, and quotations
• Oversee procurement activities and supplier relationships
• Review designs and technical specifications
• Negotiate contracts and manage commercial risks
• Monitor project costs, budgets, and profitabilityLiaise with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams

About You

• Strong background within the joinery industry
• Previous experience in estimating and procurement/buying
• Commercially aware with contract management experience
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
• NVQ Level 3 and/or City & Guilds qualification preferred
• Organised, proactive, and capable of managing multiple projects
