Job summary

Randstad C&P is seeking a dedicated Commercial Cleaner in Haddington to maintain classrooms, corridors and offices to high hygiene standards. You will perform sweeping, mopping, dusting and toilet sanitation on a 30-hour weekly schedule, with a Friday early finish.

The role offers a direct temp-to-perm pathway after 12 weeks and on-site training. PVG clearance is required or eligible, and candidates must be reliable and able to work unsupervised.

Qualifications

• Proven commercial or facilities cleaning experience.
• Active PVG membership or eligibility to pass a PVG check (Scottish background check).
• Reliable, self-motivated, and comfortable working unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• General cleaning across the grounds (classrooms, hallways, offices).
• Vacuuming, mopping, dusting, wiping down desks, and sanitising toilets.
• Managing waste and maintaining strict health and hygiene standards.
