Job summary

Bailey & Bowes Ltd is seeking a Commercial Catering Engineer / Laundry Engineer to service and maintain commercial catering and laundry equipment. The role is field-based with client meetings, requiring a driving licence and relevant gas laundry qualifications.

The package includes a 42.5-hour week, door-to-door pay, overtime, and weekend standby allowances. A company van and fuel card are provided, along with pension and tech allowances.

Qualifications

• Commercial ACS Gas Laundry qualifications required.
• LPG/F-gas qualifications would be an advantage.
• Electrical experience is beneficial (18th edition, HNC, NVQ, City & Guilds).
• Full driving licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Service, reactive maintenance and breakdown of commercial catering and laundry equipment.
• Field-based with client meetings and face-to-face customer interaction.

We are a large national commercial catering and laundry service and maintenance provider working predominantly in the care sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Service, reactive maintenance and breakdown of commercial catering & commercial laundry equipment


• Field based meeting clients - Customer facing position

Essential Qualifications / Experience

• Comcat (phone number removed)


• Commercial ACS Gas Laundry Qualifications: CLE1 / CCLNG1 / CONGLP1PD / COCCLNG1


• LPG / F-gas Qualifications (would be an advantage)


• Relevant electrical experience (18th edition, HNC, NVQ, City and Guilds in electrics would be an advantage)


• Full Driver’s Licence

• Competitive basic salary from £40,000 - £45,000 depending on experience / location

• On call rota 1 in 6 weekends only £100 standby allowance (£50 if not called out)
