Calibre Candidates Ltd. is seeking an entrepreneurial Insurance Account Executive to develop a specialist insurance scheme and build a team around it. You may focus on Fire & Security, Gyms & Fitness Centres, Renewable Energy, Tree Surgeons, or other defined sectors.

With a leading UK insurance group, you will own market research, strategy, and client growth, while leveraging broad resources to back your scheme's development.

A rare opportunity for an entrepreneurial Insurance Account Executive to develop a specialist scheme and grow a team around it, with the backing and security of a leading UK insurance group.

You may specialise in Fire & Security, Gyms & Fitness Centres, Renewable Energy, Tree Surgeons, or another defined commercial sector. What matters is your depth of specialist knowledge, proven sales success and ambition to turn that expertise into a growing business.

The Opportunity

• Build and grow a specialist insurance scheme within your chosen sector.
• Research your market, assess its potential and develop a plan for sustainable growth.
• Win new business through direct sales and a strong understanding of your clients' insurance needs.
• Develop valuable relationships with sector partners, trade bodies and associations.
• Build and lead your own team as the scheme grows.
• Take ownership of your scheme's development, supported by the resources and expertise of an established insurance business.

Key Requirements

• A successful track record in commercial insurance sales, with substantial experience as an Account Executive or in a similar Specialist Commercial Broker role.
• A clear specialist schemes focus, with approximately 80% of your current or recent book concentrated in a defined sector.
• Strong market knowledge and an understanding of the risks and insurance requirements within your specialism.
• Proven ability to win business, develop relationships and identify opportunities for growth.
• An entrepreneurial approach, commercial judgement and the ambition to build and lead a team.

The Rewards

• c£50,000-£80,000 base salary, with flexibility depending on experience.
• 10% commission.
