Job summary

HSBC Group is offering a 10-week internship in Commercial Banking. You will work closely with Relationship Managers and expert teams to understand client businesses, goals and challenges, and help craft responses with tailored solutions.

You will gain hands-on experience in client presentations, reports, credit papers, strategic reviews and financial risk assessments, while collaborating with Legal, Credit and Risk teams across geographies.

Qualifications

• Available to work full time for 10 weeks commencing June 2027.
• Will have completed studies by July 2028.
• On-track to obtain a minimum of a 2:1 undergraduate degree (or overseas equivalent to this).
• Be in your penultimate year of undergraduate study.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Support Relationship Managers and specialist teams to assist Commercial Banking clients.
• Help build an understanding of each client's business, goals and challenges, and identify tailored HSBC solutions.
• Assist with client presentations, reports and credit papers.
• Contribute to strategic reviews and pitches; perform financial analysis and risk assessments.
• Collaborate with colleagues across Legal, Credit and Risk and across geographies.
