Job summary

Huntress is recruiting an entry-level Commercial Assistant in Spalding. You will support customer accounts, coordinate orders and assist with promotions and launches, gaining hands-on exposure to commercial operations. No FMCG experience required; you’ll learn alongside an experienced team and progress toward an Account Manager role.

The role offers Monday–Friday, 8am–4pm, a salary between £26,000 and £32,000, and development opportunities with a supportive commercial team.

Qualifications

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Confident written and verbal communication skills.
• Good numerical and analytical ability.
• Confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Proactive mindset and ability to take ownership of tasks.
• Willingness to learn and develop in a commercial role.

Responsibilities

• Support Account Managers with day-to-day management of customer accounts and relationships.
• Coordinate customer orders and maintain information across internal systems.
• Liaise with colleagues across commercial, planning and operations teams to meet requirements.
• Monitor order progress, check product availability and resolve issues.
• Prepare reports and update spreadsheets for the team.
